ODST drops in less than 6 hours and im extatic, in fact freaking out, just thought i de let everyone know that. I m getting it tommorow as soon as i can. my review will probably be sometimes next week, so be patient. Any way see you later and remember to post.

With the recent drought ending i have several annoucments to make. First off the new Brutal Legend demo is coming out on the 13th of September which is a welcome relief to the wait for me (for those of you that dont really know me you should know Brutal Legend is my obsesion.) Also im going to recap some of the games i would like to review. Wet is the first game coming out im jonesing for. I am a huge fan of Bethaseda, and Eliza Dushku, so naturally i would be excited about that. Also Halo Odst which is obvious i’ve said that in the past, it is putting a new spin on the Halo series because it is no longer super soldiers. And Of course Brutal Legend my obsesion. Any other sugestions?

Because i know i have so very many loyal viewers i think i should offer an explaination to my quite long absence. You see come summer we all know that a shortage of games comes into effect and we are forced to wait many long months for a new one. I inparticular felt this drought and took a break. I am pleased to announce i will be back as of now and will start doing reviews as soon as i can get and review Halo ODST. Followed by BRUTAL LEGEND IN ROCKTOBER i am going to be making mothly updates of reviews and upcoming reviews. That sounded weird to me so ill rephrase im gona make a list of upcoming reviews. Lets aim for 2-3 reviews a month shall we? and if you want me to do something specific. Well go and post!

This whole blog was based on an intro to computers class, and our teacher is making us write a post about what we are going to do after school end. My answer, ya ill keep posting, not as often but definately i will try to check up and write a new post at least once a week. Ghost busters the game is coming out in 7 days and it is causing quite a comotion. Ya i know some people dont even know they are making a Ghostbusters game, so if you dont like go back to CANADA. The reason i sound so stupid right now is cause im a little excited, for ghostbusters of course. I loved the movies, and when i first heard of the game i freaked out. Anyway back to the preview , ghostbusters is going to be like the third movie and feature a new nameless character. Anyway you get new wepons there are new ghosts and you can even touch the ghost toaster! Who else besides me is buying this game the day it comes out?!

Halo Reach

I know ive been posting alot of video’s lately so bare with be becaue a new developement has just come into light for me. I recently learned (from a viewer of the blog thanks again) that a new halo game besides ODST is in developement. While i personally enjoyed the franchise and i am looking forward to ODST, i have to ask didnt bungie release a statement saying they are never going to realease another halo game after ODST? And furthermore, do you think they’ve drawn it out a bit much? Halo is a great game and Halo 3 was the pinical of multiplayer power, but i found after Halo 2 the campaign was lacking. Admitadly multiplayer makes up for this but still. ODST is good because it is going to be a new experience. For once we aren’t master chief and get to play with a different strategy, as well as the fact ODST is going to be squad based which is also a welcome change to the series. My thought is that Bungie saw what Halo Wars did and said “Well different is obviously not better, lets make another remake of the same game.” After reading up on the book series (yes reach is based on the book series the fall of reach) which is about master chief I realized that reach will be more of the same. Bungie I am begging you keep making games just stop making remakes of Combat Evolved, cause when it gets right down to it Halo 2 and 3 were just that, remakes. ODST I’,m sure will be a refreshing change without straying to far from the pack. While Halo wars was esentually a piece of crap. And heres an idea, how about a game where you play the entire game from the prestective of a covenant elite? That would be awsome and completelly different, chew on that for a while.Overall i dont have high expectations for this game unless they come out with a more interesting trailer or let out some incredible info that change my opinion I still remain unconvinced.

Halo Reach trailer, i know not much to look at just some exlosions and talking about the explosions….. Bit boring

Another Left 4 Dead? Already?

Boy has Valve been busy, first Left for Dead, and now 2? It seems like only yesterday that i was killing zombies in the original, in fact it was only yesterday. While I look forward to the next installment, i am forced to wonder, like so many other games before it, is it worth it to come out with a new one so close to the originals release date. Generally speaking games with such a short time apart are bad and leave a horrible taste in your mouth, or if they are good end up being more of an expansion than an actual full blown title. So while Left 4 Dead was awsome, will Left 4 Dead 2 meet the standard? Only time will tell.

Review Team Fortress 2

Its been a while since this game has come out but i have recently rediscovered it after the new meet the spy trailer. Tf2 is a multiplayer exclusive FPS, by Valve which was featured on the orange box then again on the computer. While it is technically on the Xbox 360, and PS3 no one who really enjoys the game plays it on consoles, mostly because Valve hates console games it seems, because they always release extra content for only PC games. Which is fine for me because i recently made the shift back to PC gaming. But back on topic the consoles lack extra content, ie unlockable items. TF2 in a way perfected the class based FPS, by class based FPS for those of you who don’t know what i mean, i refer to the fact that in the game before you start a round you chose a class. There are 3 types of classes and 9 different classes, there’s offensive, the scout, the soldier and the pyro. The defensive, the demoman, the heavy and the engineer. And support, the sniper, the spy and the medic. And while this game was released in 2007, an eternity in the year of videogames, it seems it stays more popular than most other online games.

Overall i give Team fortress 2 (On the computer) an A-.

My take on Modern Warfare 2

Modern warfare is going to be a sequel to Call of Duty Modern Warfare and the next installment in the series. Unfortuantely the last modern warfare I feel ruined the Call of Duty series and i know by saying this I am subject to ridicule and hatered by almost everyone but hear me out. Call of Duty has always been a WW2 series and with the addition of modern warfare, which everyone thought was soooo good, it strayed from the already awsome norm. The thing is World at War was a last ditch effort to keep the series on the path of WW2 but now with the new game i feel all real fans of the series will be at a lose and feel a void in their heart from the good old days. But admitadly the game was good, but i say the same for Banjo Kazooie, and other games in simular predicaments, it will never go back now and we are doomed to a fate of the new age. But I say NAY! Why should we be forced to abandon a series we so love (with the exception of Call of duty 3 god that game sucked), I say keep making WW2 games and never abandon the dream!
